Oman Coast Tour

Our Oman Tour 2025 began in Muscat, where we were warmly welcomed by our local guide Abdul Rahman and driver Hilal, and gained our first impressions of the country and its culture in Nizwa. On the very first day, we sensed that Oman welcomes its guests with openness, tranquility, and a fascinating blend of tradition and modernity. The first stages took us through vast desert landscapes and by ferry to the secluded island of Masirah – a place where time seemed to stand still. Lonely roads, white beaches, and curious camels accompanied us on this special island tour. Camel selfies were a must!

Back on the mainland, the route took us through the vast heart of Oman – past salt lakes, through barren valleys and along deserted roads, accompanied by the endless silence of the desert. Every day showed us new facets of this impressive country, from the austere beauty of the landscape to the warm hospitality of the people. The drive along the coast was particularly impressive, with the blue sea glistening in the distance and the chance to experience the wild, unspoiled side of Oman. The overnight stay with the locals in Shaleem will also remain in everyone’s memory. An evening full of warmth and authenticity.

The highlight came with our arrival in Salalah: palm trees, the sea, and a touch of luxury provided the perfect end to our trip. During a city tour, we immersed ourselves once again in the rich history and culture of the south before it was time to say goodbye. We returned home with countless memories – from the desert wind to the scent of spices in the markets. Our Oman Tour 2025 was more than a cycling trip – it was a journey of discovery through a country full of silence, vastness, and unforgettable encounters.
